Organised by IT professionals, for IT professionals.
ISTA is run by 4 technology companies in Bulgaria, and everything it has published — every programme, speaker, partner and photograph it still has — is kept on this site rather than left behind on an old one.
What ISTA says about itself
Reproduced exactly as published on istacon.org, including its own wording and its own errors.
ISTA is not just a conference. Organized since 2011 by IT professionals for IT professionals, ISTA has become atradition. This is one of the biggest and most prominent tech events in the region.
ISTA is the place to be for anyone who is truly passionate about information technology, development, quality, automation, and innovation. Throughout the years, ISTA has gathered IT professionals and world-renowned speakers who have shared their knowledge and expertise.
The conference is all about collaboration, knowledge sharing, meeting newfriends, inspiring and being inspired in a world of constantly evolving technology.
Organized by leading ITcompanies in Bulgaria – Experian, Infragistics, Accenture & Merkle – ISTA combines the ability of the five organizations to create INNOVATION, to SHARE KNOWLEDGE and to bring together people, who CHANGE THE WORLD.

The organising companies
ISTA is organised jointly by IT companies rather than by a media business. Each one below is named as an organizer in the edition records, with the years it is recorded against.
Accenture2 editions, 2025–2026 — opens in a new tab
Experian8 editions, 2019–2026 — opens in a new tab
Infragistics8 editions, 2019–2026 — opens in a new tab
Merkle4 editions, 2023–2026 — opens in a new tab
ISTA publishes no split of responsibilities between these companies — no programme committee, no chair and no per-company remit — so none is described here.
Organizers of earlier editions who are not on the current roster: MusalaSoft — opens in a new tab (2019–2024)vmware — opens in a new tab (2019–2023).
The registered data controller is Асоциация за иновации в софтуерните технологии, at София, бул. Цар Борис III N 136 а — as stated in the published policy. It is a different name from the one in the site's own copyright line, Innovations in Software Technologies and Automation; both are published and neither is corrected here.
16 editions held. 8 with a page.
Each year links to its own archive page: the programme, the speakers, the partners and the photographs, in this site's design system rather than a frozen copy of an old one.

ISTA has run since 2011, so 8 editions predate the list above. Those years were never published as pages on istacon.org — no speaker list, no programme, no photographs — so there is nothing to migrate for them, and nothing has been invented in their place. If material for them exists offline, it can be added in the same format as the rest.
The archive, measured
Counted from the migrated records when this page was built. ISTA publishes no attendance, reach or satisfaction figure, so none is quoted.

Alongside the conference, 41 analyses are published on ISTA Insights — the part of ISTA that runs in the other 364 days of the year.
Three things ISTA does not publish
Listed because their absence is worth knowing, and because writing them here would put words in the organisers' mouths.
- Code of Conduct
- ISTA publishes no code of conduct, no reporting route and no enforcement process for its events. For an event of this size that is a gap worth closing, and it has to come from the organisers rather than from a template.
- Press kit
- There is no press kit. Logos, past-edition figures and speaker photography all exist across this site, but no assembled pack is published; the sponsors brochure on the partners page is the only published document.
- Editorial standards
- ISTA Insights publishes 41 analyses under a single byline. Every article carries a date, a byline and its sources, but no editorial policy, corrections policy or sponsorship disclosure is published. Those statements belong to the editorial team.
If you need any of these, or can supply them, press and media enquiries reach a person. Nothing on this page is behind a form.
Contact ISTA
There is no support desk and no ticketing hotline. One published address reaches the organisers.
